Forrest Summer Market

We are so excited to plan our first ever Forrest Summer market! Our Christmas market is always such fabulous celebration of local businesses, and our traders tell us they are often the best market of the season for them in terms of sales!

Our plan for the summer market is to use our outside space to make this a really interactive and exciting day. This will be during normal trading hours, probably 10:30am - 5pm in a weekend mid July (date and hours tbc based on trader availability and licenses). We plan to have live music, outdoor refreshments and lots of other Forrest touches to make it extra special.

Whether you've joined us for a Christmas market before or this is your first time, we’d love to hear from you. Unfortunately we need to ensure there is good variety of stalls and therefore not every applicant is guaranteed a place however we will get back to you asap. ** Please note we will not be having any cake / brownie traders due to the fact we sell cakes in the shop **

When is the market?
We are currently planning the market and dates will be dependant on trader availability and licenses.

What time will it start and finish?
10:30am - 5pm (tbc)

How much does a stall cost?
£35

Is it ticketed?
No, this event is not ticketed. We will be marketing it heavily across social media and with posters in our shop. We will also send traders marketing materials for their socials.

Will there be stalls outside?
Yes the whole market will take place outside

Can I bring someone to trade with me?
Absolutely! We are very flexible so bring whoever you would like to help/feel most comfortable

What happens if I can’t make it?
We understand that plans change, however we ask for at least one month’s notice in order to allow us to find another trader. If less than one month is given then your stall fee will unfortunately not be refunded.

Is there parking?
Yes, there is a paid car park just behind us (Abbey End), free parking on Forrest Road or Southbank Road, and you are also able to pull directly outside to load and unload.

Can any type of business apply?
Yes, we are open to any traders however we will not be allowing traders to sell cakes / brownies due to the fact we sell cakes throughout the evening.
